NLP is an absolutely fascinating mix of art and science, with it’s roots in the field of personal development and change. Communicating Excellence and Integrity NLP strive to provide the very highest quality and best value training in the North East for NLP and Clinical Hypnotherapy.

We want to help people help themselves to help yourself to an even better quality of life by way of accessing even more of your potential and making really positive change in your life.

Our regular practice days are ways to meet new and interesting people and re-connecting with old friends. If you are new to NLP then attending a practice day is also a great way to try on some NLP training for size and discovering if this really is for you.

Right now in our current economic climate the ability to communicate effectively and make positive change happen has never been more important so if you add this to being able to run your own brain so you can feel the way you want much more of the time and you have the basic recipe for what you can do with NLP.

This next NLP Practice day takes place on Saturday 30th May with the following topics for personal exploration and development.

Session 1 : NLP for accelerated learning
Session 2 : How to Feel Really Good
Lunch
Session 3 : Connecting With People
Session 4 : Creating Your Future

Tiree PerspectiveHow often have you heard other people lamenting their inability to put things into perspective? If only we could step back and appreciate the bigger picture and put things into context. Fortunately NLP gives us some specific techniques to allow us to do just that.

In this week’s NLP Cafe Andy Hunt will take you through two processes for putting things into perspective. The Perspectives Pattern invented by NLP trainer John McWhirter and further developed by Steve Andreas. In this workshop we will learn to use this simple process to resolve troublesome images and unhelpful self talk. You will need to have had some experience of NLP to use these processes.

Join Nigel Hetherington and Andy Hunt at the NLP Cafe workshop on Wednesday 20th May at St Oswald’s Hospice Teaching Centre, Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne at 7pm. The cost is just £10.

To forgiveImage by dhammza via Flickr

The Newcastle NLP practice group the NLP Cafe meets every month on the third Wednesday in Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne. The NLP Cafe is sponsored by North East based IntegrityNLP - NLP and Hypnotherapy Trainings.

Each month we have a structured practice session. The coming session on Wednesday 18th March is the NLP Forgiveness Pattern by Steve and Connirae Andreas.

Sometimes we really do need the skills and ability to be able to forgive others and to be able to forgive ourself. Quite often or more like most of the time when someone has committed what we can perceive as some deliberate or unforgivable act against us that has violated our values that can go on to cause anger, blaming and resentment. This of course can also apply to perceived self-transgressions.

Using the Forgiveness Pattern it is possible to transform what are essentially unhelpful states into forgiveness and compassion. This particular practice session does require you have some NLP skills and experience.

To have an experience of the Forgiveness Pattern and how you can put it into practice join Nigel Hetherington and Andy Hunt at the NLP Cafe workshop on Wednesday 18th March at St Oswald’s Hospice Teaching Centre at 7pm.

Pay £9.00 in advance online or £10 at the event.

The NLP Cafe is complementary for all participants on both of our current NLP Practitioner Training Courses.

The NLP Cafe is back in the new year and taking one of the real true essences of life very seriously! Laughter!

This laughter workshop is hosted by Keith Adams of Voluntary Aspirations.

The event will be fun, stimulating and you will laugh out loud a lot.  There are a maximum of 18 places so be sure to book in advance to make sure you get in for the laughs.

Life today is very stressful. More than 70% of all illnesses have some relationship to stress. The best way to reduce stress is through laughter - its the best medicine and the least expensive. Research shows that laughter decreases stress hormones. Epinephrine is lowered both in anticipation of and doing laughter.

There is more. Laughter therapy helps to increase antibodies - its good for the immune system. Laughter stimulates heart and blood circulation. It is claimed that one minute of laughter is equal to ten minutes on the rowing machine. It also tones facial muscles and expressions - people look younger and are more fun when they laugh.

Laughter is socially bonding. It stimulates the creative side of the brain and leads to clear thinking.

Questioning Skills is one of the most useful competencies and skill sets for therapists, coaches, really anyone who is working with others to achieve outcomes and get stuff done.

But it is much more that this. It is about making things happen, quantifying the unknowns and building honest and real motivation that generates ACTION. 18 November 2008.

Nigel Hetherington will be demonstrating how NLP’s Meta Model can be used extremely effectively to gather, create and flesh out action plans to really make things happen. From personal outcomes and goals to large scale business planning the non-therapeutic application of the process is the same.

Come and join this inclusive and structured North East NLP practice group on Tuesday 18th to explore the use of NLP’s meta model to form action plans that actually work.

So if you have some personal outcomes and goals you want to explore and actualise or if you have a business project that you want to turn into a realistic and workable plan come along and learn the process for yourself.

If you are quite serious about developing your skills and coming away with process you can use in the real world then get yourself along and join our friendly, inclusive and growing community.

On Saturday November 22nd we are holding our second NLP Practice day, an opportunity to meet up with other NLPers and practice new stuff and develop your skills.

The day will be structured into four separate sessions, running from 9:30am to 5pm in a new venue in North Shields. Although we haven’t yet confirmed all the topics and presenter’s for the day Andy Hunt will be running a session called ‘What do you want for Christmas?’

If you are on, or have been on, one of IntegrityNLP’s courses the day is FREE of charge otherwise it will cost just £10. You will need to have had some experience of NLP, if you’ve attended an NLP Practitioner Training or one of our Introducing NLP trainings that’s fine, if you’re not sure drop us a line and we can discuss it.

As a special attraction (!) the venue is just a few hundred yards from the Royal Quays retail outlet centre and we’ll be allowing an extra half hour at lunch if you care to do a bit of Christmas shopping.

It’s the NLP Cafe’s First Birthday this month and we’d like to invite you to our FREE anniversary session.

Most other people would be content to sit around, eat birthday cake and reminisce. Not us! We are going to have our usual structured foray into the world of NLP and then eat birthday cake and reminisce.

The subject of this month’s meeting will be an NLP version of ‘The Work’ a self development process created by Byron Katie. Although she doesn’t mention NLP in her work there are many NLP aspects in her approach to eliciting and neutralising limiting beliefs. In this workshop Andy Hunt will explore the work from an NLP perspective and demonstrate ways of applying it in daily life.

We do hope you can come along and join our Birthday Bash!
Since it’s our Birthday it’s FREE … and there will be cake!

The NLP Cafe meets at 7pm on Tuesday, October 21st 2008 at St Oswald’s Hospice Teaching Centre, Regent Ave, Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE3 1EE

Procrastination is a much used and most misunderstood word. You see procrastination does not mean you are a lazy bugger. It simply means there are other good reasons or purposes why you put stuff off.

That said, how much do you want to get stuff done? Do you want the motivation and conviction to achieve more than you already do?

The topic for the practice group tonight is a process for getting things done. Create the states that make outcomes and goals much more achievable and create the necessary motivation and resolve to really get things done.

This is NOT a discussion group. This group is about applying NLP.
If you are quite serious about developing your skills and coming away with process you can use in the real world then get yourself along and join our friendly, inclusive and growing community of people who apply NLP.
