This is a great, gentle and ethical introduction into the world of NLP. Full of really good exercises and ways to apply NLP in a variety of contexts from personal life to work situations. The NLP contained is presented in a clear and easy to understand format.

The NLP Workbook - Joseph O Connor


Certainly one of the must have books. Full of the gamut of NLP exercises and applications. A great many people have bought this book - but the ones that get the most out of this are those who do the exercises.

The Structure of Magic - Volume 1 - Grinder & Bandler

A book for Anorak’s, popular opinion is this is not an easy read. There is much ‘linguistic’ material that can easily be forgotten about unless you like this sort of thing. Chapters 4 and 5 are packed full of gems in the explication and following examples of the Meta Model. A must own book.

Frogs into Princes - Grinder & Bandler

One of the best ( and sadly most expensive ) books about NLP. Edited by Steve and Connirae Andreas, this transcription of the early NLP seminar by Bandler and Grinder is the best explication of NLP you can buy. Try to pick up a cheep copy at a second hand store or online at ebay

Words that Change Minds - Charvet

A great book that provided high quality information about the Meta Program model with case study and allegory. This model is used to predict motivations and behaviours using the LAB profile. An ageing, robust and well rounded product. In and of itself a useful language recognition training tool.

Time Line Therapy and the Basis of Personality - James & Woodsmall

A really great source of information. If you are interested in the model of Meta Programs, this book provides a great deal more depth and breath than Charvet’s book. In addition there is an excellent explication of ‘Time Line Therapy’ describing uses and applications. Expensive and worth it.
